About Yuhan Shen
Yuhan Shen (b. 1997, China) is a multidisciplinary artist based in New York City whose practice spans photography, sculpture, and installation. With a background in Engineering, he brings a distinct analytical approach to art-making, investigating the intersections of technology, memory, and politics. His work balances poetic narrative with material exploration, engaging in processes such as hand-building ceramics, repurposing found objects, reengineering electronic devices, and printmaking. Through material and conceptual interplay, Shen examines the essence of power, the mutability of meaning, and the resilience of expression.
In 2019, Shen studied at the Maryland Institute College of Art before ultimately enrolling at Parsons School of Design, where he is currently pursuing a BFA degree. His work has been exhibited in various group shows in the United States, Europe and China,
