About Yuhan Shen

Yuhan Shen (b. 1997, China) is a multidisciplinary artist currently based in New York City. Working across mediums such as photography, sculpture, and installation, he explores themes of technology, memory, and politics.

With a background in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, he approaches art-making with a unique perspective informed by his scientific training. He received his BEng from the University of Southampton in 2018 before pursuing his artistic education in the United States.

In 2019, Shen studied at the Maryland Institute College of Art before ultimately enrolling at Parsons School of Design, where he is currently pursuing a BFA degree. His work has been exhibited in various group shows in the United States, Europe and China,
